This Policy governs the manner in which WESPE Booking Network collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and processes the information provided by users who use the Portal.
Its purpose is to ensure the proper processing of personal data, protect users’ privacy, and provide clear information about the use of cookies and other technologies implemented on the platform.
By using the Portal, making a reservation, registering, or providing personal information, the user declares that they have read and accepted this Policy.

3. Information We Collect
Depending on how the Portal is used, we may collect information such as:

- type and number of identification document;

- date of birth;
- residential address;

- telephone number;
- information about guests included in the reservation;
- information required for check-in at the accommodation;
- information related to payments and reservations;
- IP address;
- browser used;
- device used;
- approximate location;
- technical information regarding navigation on the Portal.
We do not store the complete debit or credit card information used during the payment process.
4. Purposes of Processing
Personal data may be used to:
- manage reservations;
- confirm payments;
- register guests;
- send information related to the reservation;
- facilitate communication during the accommodation process;
- respond to requests, inquiries, petitions, complaints, or claims;
- comply with legal obligations;
- prevent fraud;
- improve the operation of the Portal;
- prepare usage statistics;
- send commercial information only when authorization has been granted or when permitted by law.
The data will be processed solely for purposes compatible with the relationship established between the user and the Portal.
5. Sharing of Information
To properly process a reservation, certain data may be shared only with third parties whose involvement is necessary, including:
- accommodation owners;
- persons responsible for managing the accommodation;
- payment processors;
- technology service providers;
- administrative or judicial authorities when required by law.
WESPE Booking Network does not sell, rent, or otherwise commercialize personal data with third parties.
6. Information Security
WESPE Booking Network implements administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against loss, unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or misuse.
Although reasonable security measures are applied, no transmission of information over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Rights of the Data Subject
The data subject may exercise, at any time, the rights recognized under Colombian law, including the right to:
- know what data is stored;
- request that the data be updated;
- request that the data be corrected;
- request deletion of the data when legally applicable;
- withdraw the authorization granted for data processing;
- submit inquiries or complaints related to the processing of their information.
The exercise of these rights will not affect information that must be retained pursuant to a legal or contractual obligation.
8. Exercise of Rights
Requests related to the processing of personal data may be submitted through the official service channels published on the Portal.
The request must include, at a minimum:
- the name of the data subject;
- identification document;
- a description of the request;
- contact information.
Inquiries and complaints will be addressed within the time limits established by Colombian law.
9. Use of Cookies
WESPE Booking Network uses cookies and similar technologies to improve the browsing experience, facilitate the operation of the Portal, and obtain statistical information about its use.
Cookies perform functions including:
- maintaining the user’s session;
- remembering browsing preferences;
- improving the performance of the Portal;
- analyzing browsing behavior;
- measuring website performance;
- strengthening platform security.
The user may configure their browser to block, restrict, or delete cookies. However, some features of the Portal may be affected.
Continued use of the Portal constitutes acceptance of the use of cookies in accordance with this Policy.
10. Third-Party Links
The Portal may contain links to websites or services managed by third parties.
WESPE Booking Network does not control the privacy policies or data processing practices of such sites and therefore recommends reviewing their respective policies before providing personal information.
11. Retention of Information
Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or respond to requirements from competent authorities.
Once that period has ended, the information will be deleted or anonymized when legally appropriate.
12. Minors
The personal data of minors will be processed only when necessary to manage a reservation or comply with legal obligations related to the accommodation service.
The information must be provided by the minor’s parents, legal representatives, or the responsible adult authorized to accompany the minor during the stay.
13. Amendments to This Policy
WESPE Booking Network may update this Policy when necessary due to legal, regulatory, or technological changes, or to improvements in the operation of the Portal.
The current version will always be the version published at www.wespe.co.
14. Applicable Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, particularly Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1074 of 2015, and all other regulations governing personal data protection and electronic commerce.
15. Effective Date
This Privacy, Personal Data Processing and Cookie Policy enters into force upon its publication on the Portal and will remain in effect until it is amended or replaced by a new version.
The current version will always be the version published at www.wespe.co and will remain permanently available for consultation by all users.
Acceptance of This Policy
By accessing, browsing, or using WESPE Booking Network, as well as by registering, making a reservation, or providing personal information through the Portal, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted this Privacy, Personal Data Processing and Cookie Policy.
Users who disagree with any of the provisions set forth herein must refrain from using services that require the processing of their personal data.
Continued use of the Portal after the publication of a new version of this Policy will constitute acceptance of the changes introduced, without prejudice to cases in which Colombian law requires additional authorization from the data subject.
